Dr Richard Norris has over 25 years oil and gas experience and is currently Upstream Adviser to Helios Investment Partners. Prior to joining Helios, he was a CEO of Candax Energy (TSX listed) managing assets in Tunisia and Madagascar, following on from the role of General Manager in a private oil company with assets in SE Asia. Earlier in his career he held technical roles with BNP Paribas in Reserves Based Lending covering MENA, FSU and Europe. Dr Norris started his career as a petroleum engineer with Elf Aquitaine (subsequently Total) working on Oil and Gas fields across West Africa, including four years working in Angola. Guy retired from TOTAL in January 2018 after a 40-year career holding various positions as a "gas peddler" in several production subsidiaries of the Group: Manager in Jakarta, LNG Representative in Tokyo, Commercial Director in Buenos Aires and Aberdeen to become Advisor to the LNG Trading Desk in London and, more recently, Senior Advisor to the Head of LNG in Paris Headquarters. Nick Perry started his career in the oil business, then moved to natural gas, then electricity. In the 1990's he was a Board Director of Enron Europe, and of Teesside Power Ltd. Ann Pickard, BA.MA, - Was called ‘the bravest woman in oil’– by Fortune Magazine, for her work in Africa. Ann retired from Shell in 2016 after a 16-year tenure holding numerous positions, including Executive Vice President Artic, Executive Vice President Exploration and Production, Country Chair of Shell in Australia, and Executive Vice President Africa. Previously Ann had an 11-year tenure with Mobil prior to its merger with Exxon. Ann is an NED sitting on the boards of Woodside Petroleum and KBR. Simon Lockett was the CEO of Premier Oil for 10 plus years until 2014. He achieved this position at the age of 40.
